Beautiful and Terrible

Raven smirked and gripped his brothers shoulder as Jason agreed to join them and Ashe didn't seem to know how he felt. He hoped he wasn't buying into Alexandra's crazy side, too much. Even though he and his brother clearly had. Raven had already begun his march towards the strung up man, licking his lips. He looked up into the mans face and his own twisted into a cruel grin. The man whimpered in fear as Raven reached up, then pain as he gripped his face and began pulling him down against the chains, blood dripping down onto Raven's face. "Ah... You do taste like art." He mused, before looking at his mistress to see if she was ready.

~~~~~~
Jason's next memories would be entirely covered in blood and agony, both for him, but more so for the poor stranger hung in chains. Memories, stained in red, nightmares, dreams? Ashe bringing in another poor soul and pushing them into Jason's room. Tearing, ripping, engorging. It would be 3 days before Jason felt somewhat like himself again. When he awoke back in his own head Ashe would be sitting by his bed with a wet towel on his forehead. "You're awake...." He smiled slightly. "Alexandra did a number on you... I haven't seen a crafted go through that much of a hunger rage after being crafted, not since Raven, anyway." He admitted. "But you seem to have come out of it- fine?" Could you really call a crafted, fine? Could they even classify as fine anymore? "You ate a lot, but you've healed, really well." He smiled again.
"Well, Ashe." Jason explained as Ashe commented on the hunger that had plagued the man for three days following his crafting. "I was not human before. As you know some Otherkin dont even survive the process least of all the humans that are crafted. Grave injury only leads to deep hunger and much more blood and flesh is necessary for me to heal than a vampire. I am a Flesh Eater after all. And now I am a Flesh Eater and something more."
"My neck itches Ashe. It just has not stopped itching since she gave me the spikes on my back. That was a great idea on your part. It really completely the look and provides me armor against being attacked now. And I can pass for human with the right clothes on, unlike the guy who gave up the bones on his legs to make the spikes I have on me now. If it were Pre Reckoning I would still be able to hide fairly well except for the talons, they are the only dead give away that I am something more."
"So where is Alexandra, the bitch. I wanted to explain to her the secrets I have unraveled with the flesh of my first crafted victims. Do you think she will see the glory of it. The new creation soaked in blood and gore. It just delights me. I don't think she truly appreciates the gift she has, even if she did give it to me. She did it because she felt she had to. Not because she saw how it was. Just how beautiful and terrible, how unholy and divine."
Ashe was taken aback by how different Jason seemed to be all of the sudden. As he spoke of the glory written in flesh and blood Ashe swallowed a bit. He'd known Jason was otherkin, but he hadn't quite grasped that the man was a flesh eater. "Oh- that makes a lot of sense then." The angel admitted. As Jason continued to speak Ashe found himself growing a bit nervous. "Jason, there's something I should tell you. I can't craft, and Alexandra won't let me be crafted, though I'm not sure I want to be- we think it might fuck with my visions."
He smiled weakly. "I'm a hypocrite." He chuckled. "Raven wants so badly to rend my flesh, put scars on me, but she made him swear not to." He looked down. "It wasn't always like that though, I haven't told you... Don't tell him I said anything, but Raven was in a wheel chair when Alexandra found us. The vertebrae is his spine hadn't formed right... I took care of him, wouldn't let him rot... I think some part of him resents me for it." Ashe smirked. "At the time I was a dancer at a gay club doing everything I could but it wasn't enough. I've always had the visions though. I only paid attention initially to keep me and Raven safe."
"Eventually I began pawning out my gift, using the visions to make money. Rising up from a back alley oracle for the poor, to a nameworthy underground psychic, and thats when she found me. She offered Raven legs, and how could I say no to him? The deal was she would teach Raven to craft, and to live as a crafted, she would maintain and take care of him. She would give my brother the ability to walk and make sure he could keep it, so long as I looked into the future for her. She's not bad, and she's not wrong about everything, but dont take her word as the entire gospel." He warned quietly. "However I have a question for you."
"As a flesh eater, do people you find attractive, stir your hunger?"
Jason smiked in Ashe's direction. "Worried that because I find you attractive I will want to eat you up are you? No. I am not sexually attracted to those I want to eat. It would be like wanting to have sex with a cow before eating a hamburger. It just does not work that way, Ashe."
"I have made it a little obvious that I like you haven't I? I can see myself ravishing you. That is the vision of the future I have. Not that I am a Seer like you are. I'm more of a Go-Getter. I make things happen now. If you do not mind the ravishing. But now does not seem like the proper timing. And I do not exactly know if you feel the same way or if you were just being nice? Does the fact I am a Flesheater put you off to the idea of being with me? Do I frighten you now that I am enlightened?"
"I think it is either that or you just do not know what to think of me now. Is it that?" Jason smiled in Ashe's direction and said. "I hope you are not afraid of me. It would make things more difficult between us."
"By the way speaking of Alexandra, do you know where she is? She just sort of up and left us after that massacre. Also Simon Tansley. I think he may have survived that bite you gave him. He just vanished during the chaos after Alexandra released the demon on that crowd that killed everyone. You were with him at one point I think. Only former lovers have that kind of hatred for someone. A lover scorned."
